Stockport Foodbank – this years chosen charity

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why this years chosen charity is Stockport Foodbank. They provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to themmin crisis. Based at 6 centres around Stockport: Bredbury, Cheadle, Hazel Grove, Heaton Norris, Offerton and Reddish.

They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. You can help by bringing along a tin of food, e.g. fish, puddings, UHT milk, pasta, etc. on race day.
